Göztepe U17 Team and İzmir Ege Gücü Amputee Football Team came together in a meaningful event, delivering an inspiring friendly match that highlighted the unifying power of sport.
Organized under the name “Shared Game”, the event went beyond a traditional match, bringing together athletes with different experiences in a shared space of connection, learning, and mutual understanding. In the first part of the program, players from both teams gathered off the field, engaged in conversation, shared their experiences, and had the opportunity to get to know each other on a personal level. This interaction laid the foundation for a strong connection even before stepping onto the pitch.
This pre-match exchange emphasized that sport is not only about physical performance, but also about empathy, awareness, and mutual respect. The genuine interaction between the players became one of the defining elements of the event.
